Nasi Kuala started out from a family who lived in Malaysia. The parents got degrees in business, and moved to Vancouver for job opportunities. The family moved into Vancouver, and it quickly made them feel at home. The only thing the parents and kids felt missing was the Malaysian cuisine they left back in Malaysia. With courage, inspiration, and a will to succeed, the family decided to open a Malaysian restaurant in Vancouver: Nasi Kuala. With help from relatives back in Malaysia, the family gets special ingredients, and amazing Malaysian recipes in order to give the best food to their customers.
